TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Alex Yarbrough doubled twice and singled, driving in two
runs as the Arkansas Travelers defeated the Tulsa Drillers 8-4 on Wednesday.
Anthony Phillips singled three times for Arkansas.
Arkansas took the lead in the first when it scored three runs, including a solo
home run by Sean Coyle.
Trailing 6-3, the Drillers cut into the deficit in the fifth inning when Jordan
Tarsovich hit an RBI single, driving in Lars Anderson.
The Travelers later tacked on two runs in the sixth when Phillips hit an RBI
single and Bo Way scored on an error to secure the victory.
Arkansas starter Chris O’Grady (6-1) picked up the win despite allowing four
runs and seven hits over five innings. Opposing starter Chase De Jong (13-5)
took the loss in the Texas League game after allowing six runs and eight hits
over 1 2/3 innings.
