In response to a recent letter from Air Evac Lifeteam President, Seth Myers to Lifeteam members regarding their services and Baxter Regional Medical Center, the hospital has issued the following response, according to Donna McMullin from the Baxter Regional Medical Center Marketing Department.

“Recently Air Evac sent a letter out to its members, stating BRMC was considering entering into a partnership with a second air ambulance company. BRMC does not have a financial gain by working with any particular air ambulance services, however, BRMC is working to ensure patients in the communities we serve are provided the highest quality of air ambulance services possible. We are asking our county officials, emergency room physicians, paramedics and others to work with us in increasing the level of air ambulance services in our area. BRMC has no immediate plans to place any air ambulance service on the hospital campus, and would give Air Evac members ample notice of any decision that would impact their membership needs.”
