The Mountain Home High School girls’ golf team is in third place after the first day of the Class 6A State Golf Tournament at Jonesboro Country Club, just twelve strokes behind the leaders.
Jonesboro shot a 278 Monday, Searcy had a 289, Mountain Home shot 290 and Siloam Springs had a 292.
Mountain Home was lead by Sydney Czanstkowski with an 89 and Kenzie Collins had a 91 as both earned All-Conference honors.
The tournament continues Tuesday in Jonesboro.
