Atlantic/Warner Music NashvilleHunter Hayes will debut his new single, “Yesterday’s Song,” Wednesday night after the 50th Annual CMA Awards on ABC, but he’ll do it with a twist. While the Louisiana native will be playing live at Nashville’s CMA Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame, he’ll be beamed live via hologram all the way across the country to Jimmy Kimmel’s studio in Los Angeles.

You can catch the new song and the technological feat starting at 11:35 p.m. ET on Jimmy Kimmel Live! November 2 on ABC. In years past, both The Band Perry and Florida Georgia Line have appeared on Jimmy’s show using the same 21st century method.
