Ryman Hospitality PartnersThe Grand Ole Opry is getting a new “home away from home” in the Big Apple. While the world’s longest-running radio show won’t be moving from it historic base in Nashville, it will be extending its reach, as Ryman Hospitality Properties opens the new Opry City Stage next year.

The four-level complex will be located on Broadway in Times Square, with a two-story bar and restaurant featuring Music-City-themed food and beverages, as well as an Opry shop and a private event space. Perhaps most exciting is the plan to simulcast Opry shows and curate live performances in partnership with Nashville’s famed Bluebird Café.

Opry City Stage is expected to open in New York City in April of 2017.
