Voters Cast Midnight Ballots in New Hampshire

iStock/Thinkstock(DIXVILLE NOTCH, N.H.) — A few dozen voters have taken advantage of midnight polling locations in New Hampshire, kicking off Election Day 2016 in a key battleground state.

Three polling locations allowed voters to cast their ballots right at midnight, and reported the results just minutes later. Out of the 64 ballots cast, 32 went to Republican Donald Trump, 25 to Democrat Hillary Clinton and 3 to Libertarian Gary Johnson.

Vermont’s Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders got two write-in votes. Ohio’s Republican governor John Kasich and 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney each got one write-in vote as well.
