Arrest made in August slaying of liquor store employee

     NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – North Little Rock police say a suspect has been arrested in the August shooting death of a liquor store worker during a robbery.

     Officer Carmen Helton said in a news release that the suspect was arrested Friday morning and is jailed without bond pending arraignment on Tuesday.

     Helton says the suspect was wanted in the shooting death of 65-year-old Dilipkumar Patel. Police say Patel died in September after being shot Aug. 26 at Best Shot Liquor.

     Police said another employee who was also shot during the robbery was treated and released at a hospital.
