(AP) – Police have identified a suspect in the shooting
death of a North Little Rock man.
Police Sgt. Brian Dedrick said Wednesday that a capital murder warrant has
been issued for 30-year-old Charles Brent Gant in the fatal shooting of
31-year-old Pedro Omar Baez Esperanza.
Dedrick says Gant is not in custody and is considered armed and dangerous.
Police say Esperanza died at a hospital where he was taken after being found
Tuesday afternoon on the city's south side by officers investigating reports of
a man being shot.
