SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) – Construction on U.S. Highway 412 northern bypass will
prompt partial lane closures in Lowell and Springdale.
The closures on South Goad Springs Road in Benton County will begin Monday and
end on Dec. 17. Lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials say the
closures are needed to widen South Goad Springs Road.
The agency says once the widening is complete, the Razorback Trail will
temporarily be relocated onto the newly widened road, and a barrier wall will be
placed along both sides of the trail to protect users.
