Arkansas governor announces 6 appointments

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – Gov. Asa Hutchinson has announced six appointments to the state's police commission and boards of trustees at several universities.
Hutchinson appointed Stephen Edwards of Marianna to the Arkansas State Police Commission.
Therral Story of Magnolia was reappointed to the Board of Trustees of Southern Arkansas University.
Price Gardner of Roland was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas State University, replacing Howard Slinkard of Rogers.
Fort Smith resident Eric Burnett was named to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University, replacing John Ed Chambers of Danville.
The Rev. Everette Cornell "E.C." Maltbia of Conway was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the University of Central Arkansas, replacing Victor Green of Conway.
And Arkadelphia resident Ross Whipple was reappointed to the Board of Trustees of Henderson State University.
