(AP) Two students in Conway have been arrested over the past
week for reportedly making threats against local schools on social media.
Conway police say the two incidents aren't connected. On Monday, police arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of communicating a death threat. Police say the boy made a post on Snapchat that included the phrase…before I shoot-up the school.
Police say the boy made a follow-up post that said he was just joking, but he was still arrested.
On Saturday, police arrested an 18-year-old student at Conway High School on a felony terroristic threatening charge after he reportedly made posts on social media threatening violence against the school.
