For the second time in less than a week, a record for high temperatures was broken in the Twin Lakes Area. The temperature climbed up to 82 degrees Saturday afternoon at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, edging out the previous mark of 81 degrees set on the same day in 1961. The record low was two degrees in 1988. The average high and low are 49 and 27.
Meteorologist Charles Dalton from the National Weather Service Office in North Little Rock says the warm conditions will not last as a cold front is expected to move through.
