Two men were arrested recently in Mammoth Spring on felony theft and drug charges. Fulton County Sheriff Albert Roork says 42 year old Virgil Leon Mitchell of Mammoth Spring is charged with theft by receiving and possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to pack, repack, store, contain, analyze and manufacture methamphetamine. Arrested with Mitchell was 30 year old Nickolas James DeCola of West Plains, who is charged with theft by receiving and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At the time Mitchell and DeCola were arrested, they were in possession of a car that had been reported stolen in Springfield in late December. The car was being dismantled in a Mammoth Spring garage.
