High water levels following recent rains have closed eight bridges in Ozark County according to a report from the Ozark County Sheriff’s department. The bridges currently closed include Mammoth Bridge on Highway T; Hodgson Bridge on Highway 181; Bell Bridge on Highway 95; Warren Bridge off County Road FF, Patrick Bridge, Smokey Road Bridge, Haskin Ford Bridge, Steel Tracks Bridge and the bridge at Dawt Mill Dam.
Motorists are advised to avoid high water areas and not to attempt crossing flooded bridges and streams.
