The team recently returned from the Houston World Championships to wrap up final competition for the year. The team competed in qualification matches in the Turing Division. After the matches Bomb Squad was ranked in the second seed.

The top seeded teams then picked what teams they will advance to elimination matches with. Bomb Squad was in alliance with team 3937, Breakaway from Searcy, team 2221, Robo Dawgs from Mandeville, Louisiana, and team 948, Newport Robotics Group from Bellevue, Washington.

The alliance made it to the quarter finals, but came up short in the semifinals. After all of the matches were played, each of the six Division winners played for the title of Houston World Champions.

The final match came down to the Newton Division Winners and the Roebling Division Winners. The Roebling Alliance, made up of teams 973, 1011, and 2928, pulled through in the end and won the championship.

Meissner says Bomb Squad did amazing this season and worked hard.
