ATLANTA (AP) Mike Leake won his fourth straight decision, Matt Carpenter and Matt Adams homered as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Atlanta Braves 5-3 Saturday night. Aledmys Diaz went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs to help the Cardinals improve to 12-5 since beginning the season 3-9.
The Cardinals look for the sweep Sunday as Michael Wacha starts for St. Louis, and the Braves send R.A. Dickey to the hill. The first pitch is scheduled for 12:35. Sunday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The Ameren Pregame Show begins at 11:40.
