Christie Lundholm of Mountain Home entered a no contest plea to forgery and theft of property charges against her in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and was given four years probation.

On February 24th, Baxter County investigators were called to a storage unit along Highway 5 South by relatives of the 49-year-old Lundholm. They told investigators they had been asked to clean out the unit by Lundholm and her male companion.

The relatives reported finding a suitcase containing what they believed was counterfeit currency. Investigators confirmed that the currency was fake. Several of the bills in different denominations had the same serial numbers.

When the money was counted, investigators reported there were 123 fake bills in various denominations in the suitcase.

Lundholm was also charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

In addition to probation, Judge John Putman also ordered Lundholm to pay slightly more than $1,000 in restitution.
