One building permit issued in May

One building permit was issued by the City of Mountain Home during the month of May, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.A permit was issued to Eddie and Suzanne Goodwin for a new residential duplex with a construction value of $200,000 and Alan Pinkston as the contractor.

A permit for construction of a detached shed and a driveway was also issued to Jimmie Ford at a construction cost of $8,500.

A 30-day sales permit was issued to Gidget Trobaugh in the amount of $50.

The total value of permits issued in May was $208,550.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of May totaled $3,088, including the actual cost of the building permits at $244.20, $975.50 for electrical permits, $1,818 for plumbing permits and $50 for the 30-day sales permit.

The city building and inspection department handled 131 inspections for the month.
