(AP) – The body of a missing northwest Arkansas man has been found in Beaver Lake.The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 50-year-old Edward Holmes of Bella Vista was found Saturday near a private boat dock along Arkansas Highway 12 near Rogers.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Shannon Jenkins told reporters the body was found by two people kayaking and that it’s being sent to the state Crime Laboratory. Jenkins said the death remains under investigation, although foul play is not suspected.
Holmes had been reported missing Thursday and his pickup truck was found Friday, near where his body was later found.
