The first day of the Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic was played Thursday and the host team unexpectedly had to play two games. Prescott did not have enough players so Mountain Home wound up filling in to take on Pontotoc, Mississippi before their regularly scheduled game against Germantown, Tennessee.

The Lockeroom lost to Pontotoc 3-1 to start their day.

In the night cap, Mountain Home fell behind Germantown 3-0 but stormed back to take a 9-3 victory. Ben Henderson worked five scoreless innings in relief to get the win. Mason Kinder belted a two-run homer.

The Lockeroom is now 4-6 on the season.

In other games Thursday, Conway whipped Benton 10-1 and Paragould defeated Harrison 9-2.
