Top Missouri GOP donor urges support for Hawley Senate run

(AP) – A top Missouri Republican donor is asking other
political givers to push Attorney General Josh Hawley to run for U.S. Senate.USA Today reports Sam Fox in a Tuesday letter asked other GOP donors to urge
Hawley to enter the race. He asked donors not to give money to other candidates
to give Hawley time to decide whether to run.

Hawley is a first-time, Republican elected official who took office in
January. He has not yet said whether he’ll run for Senate in 2018.

U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner is among other Republicans considering a Senate campaign
against incumbent Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill.
