The Mountain Home Hurricanes swimming teams had a busy weekend.
The Junior Olympic qualifier meet was held at Texarkana. Joia Traver had a great showing, winning every event she swam in, taking the high point in the 13-14 year old girl’s division and also qualifying for the Junior Olympics.
Also swimming with Junior Olympic qualifying times were Sierra Trogdon, Glen Sailor and Dalton Tucker.
A few members of the Hurricanes competed at Jonesboro. Maddy Lynch won three events in the 13-14 age group. Olivia Norris wont he backstroke in the 15-18 group. Ajay Reiss took the 100 free in the 9-10 age group.
