Mountain Home was able to claim another summer championship. The Bandits won the Babe Ruth Eight-Year-Old North Arkansas State Tournament after beating up on Walnut Ridge in the title game 18-1. On their way to the championship, Mountain Home also Gravette 10-6, Walnut Ridge 13-0 and Siloam Springs 13-1. The Bandits invoked the mercy rule in three of their four games.
