Big Creek Golf and Country Club recently picked up another accolade from an international forum. An online publication titled “The Culture Trip” released its top golf courses for each state, and Big Creek was chosen as the best in Arkansas.
Big Creek Managing Partner Lang Zimmerman says he was shocked about the honor mainly because it’s from a source he was not familiar with.

“The Culture Trip” mentions in the article how Big Creek is surrounded by lakes and mountains. Sports Editor Luke Bradshaw writes about its lush fairways, ivory white bunkers and three-tiered driving range.
This isn’t the first time Big Creek has been recognized by an international publication, and Zimmerman says it’s a testament to everyone responsible for the course’s upkeep.
