Burning Daylight band featured at block party on the square

The Burning Daylight band is this week’s headliner for the seventh series of Mountain Home’s Friday Night Block Party on the Square. The show is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 Friday evening.According to Event Coordinator Ron Shire, Burning Daylight is a local band playing “positive” Country, Contemporary and Gospel music. Lee Anne Jackson, Cate Jackson, and Susi Vangilder take turns singing lead and harmonizing. Curt Dixon plays lead guitar as well as sings lead on several tunes. Mark Kapshandy plays rhythm guitar and sings harmony, Tony Chastain plays bass, and Jayme Patterson is on drums.

The Friday Night Block Party will go through the second Friday of September. The family friendly event will have vendors, food, crafts and prizes.
