Baseball and swimming make up the local Saturday schedule.

State tournaments continue for local Cal Ripken baseball teams.
The Mountain Home 12s begin bracket play in the Cal Ripken 12-Year-Old Major/70 North Arkansas State Tournament at Springdale. The 12s will be in quarterfinal action at 11 a.m.
The Cal Ripken 10-Year-Old North Arkansas State Tournament resumes at Clysta Willett Park in Mountain Home. The first game gets underway at ten.
Pool play will come to an end in the Cal Ripken Eight-Year-Old Pitching Machine North Arkansas State Tournament at Keller Park in Mountain Home. On Field One, Bentonville Dunn and Gravett get underway at nine, the Mountain Home Yetis meet Springdale Bodenstein at 10:30, Bentonville Carlton faces Siloam Springs at noon, the Mountain Home Stars take on Bentonville Dunn at two, and Harrison plays Springdale Cooper at 3:30. On Field Two, the Stars get underway at nine against Bentonville Carlton, Harrison meets Northeast Arkansas at 10:30, Springdale Cooper faces Gravette at noon, the Yetis take on Northeast Arkansas at two, and Springdale Bodenstein plays Siloam Springs at 3:30. Bracket play begins at 5:45.

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team is in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for the 58th annual Glen Winget Memorial Tournament. The Lockeroom begins action in the Al Solenberger Pool as they meet the host Indians at 6:45.

The Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team will be back on the road. The Hurricanes will compete in a meet at Batesville.
