Local baseball teams to spend Sunday in tournament play

Baseball makes up the local Sunday schedule.

Cal Ripken state tournaments continue for local teams.
The Mountain Home 12s continue action in the Cal Ripken 12-Year-Old Major/70 North Arkansas State Tournament at Springdale. The 12s will compete in the semifinals at 11 a.m.
The Cal Ripken Ten-Year-Old North Arkansas State Tournament will come to an end at Clysta Willett Park in Mountain Home. Bracket play resumes at noon.
The Mountain Home Sharks will return to play in the Cal Ripken Nine-Year-Old North Arkansas State Tournament at Blytheville. The Sharks meet Paragould at 11:00.
The Cal Ripken Eight-Year-Old Pitching Machine North Arkansas State Tournament will end on Sunday. Bracket play begins at 10:00.

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team will continue action in the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament at Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Lockeroom plays its second game in the Al Solenberger Pool as they meet Arkansas City, Kansas. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:15 at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
