The Friends of the Baxter County Library announced a new student scholarship for non-traditional students attending Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. A check for $1,500 was recently presented to the ASU-Mountain Home Foundation to help non-traditional students in expenses for tuition and books.Non-traditional students are normally defined as students delaying entry into post-secondary education, attending part-time or taking responsibility for their own financial aid. Existing ASU-Mountain Home students interested in applying for the scholarship will need to visit the Financial Aid office on campus.
