Several people were put on probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

37-year-old Troyn Joyce of Mountain Home was given six years probation after entering a no contest plea to drug-related charges, including making a drug sale to a person cooperating with law enforcement.

Eva York of Gassville was given five years probation and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution after pleading guilty to taking jewelry from a woman who was hospitalized and whom York did not believe would survive.

York was sentenced under provisions of Act 346 meaning that if she stays out of trouble, she can petition the court to have her record sealed.

50-year-old Jessie Vancleave of Mountain Home was given four years probation after pleading guilty to drug charges and traffic violations. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop in early January.

28-year-old Nathaniel Chance of Midway was given four years probation after pleading guilty to drug-related charges.

Two people received three years probation in unrelated cases. 38-year-old Jared Johnston of Caufield and 34-year-old Melissa Adkerson of Mountain Home both entered guilty pleas to drug charges.

Both Johnston and Adkerson were sentenced under provisions of Act 346.
