One additional school board filing for the September 19 election was reported on Friday.
Fulton County Clerk Vickie Bishop says incumbent Andy McCandlis has filed for the seat he now holds on the Viola School Board.
The filing period closes at noon on Tuesday.
For those interested in running for a school board position, packets including petitions are available from the county clerk’s office. Candidates must secure 20 signatures from registered voters in the school district in which they are running. The completed petitions should then be returned to the county clerk’s office.
