
The Chuck Morton Memorial Tournament came to an end Friday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club.
Connor Gaunt of Cabot was the top golfer on the boys’ side as he won the 16-to-18 age group with a two-day total of three-under par 141. Locally, Harrison’s Jackson Marseilles finished fourth, Logan Greer of Harrison ended up tenth, Landon Rothgeb of West Plains took 36th place, and Harrison’s Nick Schriner, Seth Sweatman and Gavin Ray were 40th, 41st and 42nd respectively.
The boys’ title among 14- and 15-year-olds went to Logan Stephens of Cabot with a 148. Bodie King of Harrison finished 13th, and Mountain Home’s Billy Knox and Gage Pinn were 18th and 19th.
Ben Brogdon of Little Rock was the winner ar the boys’ 12-and-13 age group with a 152. Mountain Home’s Rip Finley ended up sixth, Nicholas Theil of Harrison took seventh place, and Steven Knox of Mountain Home was eighth.
Josie Roberson of Maumelle was the best girls’ golfer as she claimed the 16-to-18 age group with a one-over-par 145. Lane Horn of Harrison finished tenth.
Little Rock’s Bailey Dunstan won among 14- and 15-year-olds with a 151. Sydney Czantskowski of Mountain Home ended up second, Kennedy Wyatt of Calico Rock took sixth place, and Mountain Home’s Haley Czeschin was seventh.
The 12-and-13 age group title went to Macey Wyler of Springdale. Wyler’s two-day total was 246.
The nine-and-under co-ed division was won by Hudson Lindsay with an 82. Truett Lindsey, Jack Coleman and Abby Edens were second, third and fourth. All competitors in the age group are from Mountain Home.
