Mountain Home breezed through its game Sunday on its way to the winning the Babe Ruth 15-Year-Old North Arkansas State Tournament. The Blue Devils beat up on Fort Smith 17-2 at Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.
Jim Strider picked up the victory after pitching 4 1/3 innings and giving up five hits and two runs. Dylan Poush and Satch Harris led the Mountain Home offense with four RBIs each, and Miles O’Brien scored four runs.
The Blue Devils dominated in all three of their games. Mountain Home outscored its opponents 42-5, committed two errors and gave up six walks for the entire tournament.
The Blue Devils will be in Petal, Mississippi, July 21st for the start of the Babe Ruth 15-Year-Old Southwest Regional Tournament.
