In order to dispel the popular opinion that flying airplanes is only for wealthy risk takers, high school students, college students and adults are invited to the Ozark Regional Airport in Midway Saturday to the Pilots & Props Airport Adventure. The free event is scheduled Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00.
Pilots will talk for 15 minutes on various aviation topics. Attendees will be able to visit with the pilots and view airplanes on display. Admission is free and airplane rides will be available from Big Air FBO for $20 per person.
The Ozark Regional Airport is located at 6462 Highway 126 North in Midway.
The event is made possible by members of the local Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 775 and sponsors Integrity First Bank, Air Evac Lifeteam and Big Air, LLC.
