(AP) – Democratic candidates in Missouri are lining up to
take on Republican U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner in her bid for re-election.Two Democrats entered the race this week, just days after Wagner announced she
wouldn’t run for U.S. Senate against Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill. Wagner is
instead seeking re-election.

So far, Wagner’s challengers include suburban St. Louis attorney Cort
VanOstran, who announced his candidacy Wednesday. He works for the law firm
Gray, Ritter and Graham, P.C. He’s also a visiting lecturer at Washington
University.

Fellow attorney Kelli Dunaway also is running as a Democrat. She works at
Bryan Cave LLP.

Both cited support for access to health care in their announcements, and
VanOstran criticized Wagner’s vote to repeal major parts of former President
Barack Obama’s health care law.
