The Mountain Home Diamonds 14-and-under softball team wrapped up its season this past weekend with a runner-up finish in the Clarksville USSSA Gold Ring Tournament. The Diamonds went unbeaten in pool play and went into the bracket as the top seed, but they fell short in the title game.
The Diamonds’ season also included championship finishes in the Babe Ruth 14-and-under North Arkansas State Tournament and the Springfield ASA Tournament, and they also ended up third in the at the Woo Pig Classic in Fayetteville. Their final record is 23-8.
