Baseball makes up the local Thursday schedule as the Mountain Home American Legion team will go up against the Mountain Home Arp team. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:30 at Lester White Field at Cooper Park.
The Mountain Home Sharks begin are in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to begin action in the Cal Ripken Nine-Year-Old Southwest Regional Tournament. The Sharks will play the first of three pool games as they meet Oak Grove, Mississippi, at one p.m.
