LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Little Rock police have identified the person who was found fatally shot on a city street earlier this week.
Police say 19-year-old Samuel “Chris” Gilmore was found lying in the road on West 14th Street late Tuesday night, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Little Rock police said Thursday that Gilmore was from Texas and had recently moved to Little Rock.
No arrests have been announced, and police have not said what may have led to the shooting. His death is the 32nd homicide reported in Little Rock so far this year.
