
In addition to the hiring of Tim Carver as head baseball coach, the Mountain Home School Board filled several other coaching vacancies on Thursday.
Nathan Criner was selected as the new head coach of the Bombers’ high school boys’ soccer team. Criner is promoted from assistant coach and will succeed Bryan Mattox who was selected as the new high school football head coach during a recent work session. Criner was also selected to be an assistant coach for Mattox in the football program.
Mattox will also be replaced in another position by Phillip Taylor. Taylor was named the head coach of the junior high football team after previously serving as an assistant.
Justin Bigham was named a high school football assistant coach and weight room coordinator. Bigham previously served as the high school wrestling head coach.
In addition, Blake Hendricks will be an assistant football coach on the high school level, and Tyler Shrum, Chris Cudworth and Philip Goodwin will serve as assistant coaches for the junior high.
