Izard County Sheriff’s Office conducting coat drive

With cooler, winter weather approaching, the Izard County Sheriff’s Department is conducting a coat drive.

Izard County Sheriff Jack Yancey says new or slightly used and clean coats and jackets are being collected, as well as donations to purchase coats as needed. Coats, jackets and donations may be brought to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office located at 300 Circle Drive in Melbourne and at the Sheriff’s substation in Horseshoe Bend.
