Tiffanie Cortez-Lynn of Gamaliel had a quick answer for the judge during her appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
Crotez-Lynn pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was given six years probation.
She was arrested October 13th when officers from Arkansas Community Correction conducted a parole compliance visit at a residence along Fout Road. Parolee 38-year-old Brandon Vazquez lives there with the 32-year-old Cortez-Lynn, identified as his girlfriend.
During a post Miranda interview with Vazquez, he admitted smoking methamphetamine and said that Cortez-Lynn injected the drug.
Officers found an extensive list of drug paraphernalia during the visit — including digital scales, glass smoking devices, multiple syringes, along with other items associated with the use of methamphetamine and marijuana.
After looking over the list of items found in the house during the sentencing process, Judge John Putman asked Cortez-Lynn “what in the world do you do with all that stuff?” Cortez-Lynn had a ready answer — “get high,” she said.
