
In high school softball Thursday, Mountain Home traveled to Springdale and picked up a 13-2 win to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Maly Tabor led the offense with a home run, double and six runs batted in. Grace Gilbert had a pair of doubles and three RBI, and Bella Bevel drove in a pair of runs.
Kaylee Crownover got the win in the circle, allowing three hits and no earned runs.

At Cotter, the Lady Warriors lost to Salem 11-2. The Lady Warriors fall to 1-1 while the Lady Greyhounds are now 3-0.
Flippin defeated Izard County 6-5. The Lady Bobcats improve to 1-2 while the Lady Longhorns fall to 0-1.
Yellville-Summit lost to Huntsville 3-2 to fall to 0-2 on the season.
Viola was a 16-1 winner over Rural Special. The Lady Longhorns are now 4-0.
In high school baseball, Salem defeated Cotter 7-0. The Warriors are 0-2 while the Greyhounds move to 2-0.

The Mountain Home 9th grade baseball team defeated Yellville-Summit 10-0 in five innings. Logan Walker was the winning pitcher, striking out 10 in four innings.
The 9th grade baseball team is now 2-0.
