A Twin Lakes Area resident recently completed basic military training. U.S. Air Force Airman Jim A. Raley of Yellville recently graduated at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
Raley completed an intensive, eight-week program including training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits towards an associates degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
Raley is the son of Patsy and Jimmie Raley, son-in-law of David Abbot, and brother of Katie Abbot, all of Yellville.
Airman Raley is a 2017 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School.
