(AP) – An Arkansas panel has postponed its meeting to
formally issue licenses to five companies to grow medical marijuana after a judge issued a temporary restraining order.A spokesman for the Department of Finance and Administration says the Medical Marijuana Commission meeting scheduled for late Wednesday had been called off in response to the order issued earlier that day by Pulaski County Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen.

DFA spokesman Scott Hardin says a new meeting date will be confirmed by the commission pending further guidance from the court.

Griffen issued the order in response to a lawsuit filed by a company that
unsuccessfully applied for a cultivation facility permit.
