The annual Baxter County 4-H Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be open Friday afternoon from 2:00 until 5:00 and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Rabies vaccinations will be available at a special rate of $12 and other shots, such as Distemper and Parvo, are available upon request.

Participating clinics include All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, both the Main and Lakeside locations, Animal Health Care Center, Baxter County Animal Clinic, Spring Park Animal Clinic, and the Vet Clinic, Inc.

Each spring, the Baxter County 4-H Clubs and Mountain Home veterinarians cosponsor a countywide vaccination clinic. Apart from being a community service, the clinic also provides funds for the county 4-H Foundation. Two dollars of each rabies vaccination goes to support the Baxter County 4-H Clubs.

For more information, contact the Baxter County Cooperative Extension at 870-425-2335 or any of Mountain Home’s veterinary clinics.
