
Courtesy of Eagle Rock EntertainmentThe Magpie Salute, the Black Crowes spinoff group led by guitarist Rich Robinson, has announced a new series of North American summer tour dates in addition to their recently announced September 23 appearance at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
The shows span from a July 8 concert in Thunder Bay, Canada, through a September 15 show in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
Six of the shows will feature The Magpie Salute opening for Gov’t Mule and The Avett Brothers. Tickets for many of the concerts will go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 20. Visit TheMagpieSalute.com for more information.
In addition to Robinson, The Magpie Salute’s lineup features two other ex-Black Crowes members: guitarist Marc Ford and bassist Seven Pipien. The lineup also features singer John Hogg and drummer Joe Magistro.
As previously reported, the band is currently working on its as-yet-untitled debut studio album, which is due out sometime in the summer.
