WILLOW SPRINGS, Mo. (AP) _ A southern Missouri woman has been charged with fatally stabbing a man whom she suspected of taking a wallet containing $1,000.KWPM reports that 48-year-old Sara Messex-Pullen, of Willow Springs, was
charged Wednesday with second-degree murder and three other felonies in the death of 36-year-old Larry Tucker.
Court records say Messex-Pullen went into a Willow Springs shop Sunday and
tried to attack Tucker and his wife with a spike attached to string before
stabbing him in the sternum with a knife.
Messex-Pullen told authorities she fled with a man who’d accompanied her into the shop, staying in a wooded area and trailer. She was arrested Tuesday about 25 miles away in Texas County, but the man escaped.
