A man from northeast Arkansas was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Ozark County Thursday afternoon. Fifty-seven-year-old Willis Hawkins of Caraway was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center with what the Missouri Highway Patrol termed moderate injuries.
The report indicates Hawkins was traveling on Highway J when his semi-trailer ran off the right side of the roadway, he overcorrected, and the truck ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The accident occurred at 3:50 15 miles southeast of Gainesville.
