A Marion County man, 46-year-old Preston Fraser of Yellville, has been charged with felony counts of residential burglary and terroristic threatening, following an incident in which he is alleged to have violated a protection order by breaking into a residence along County Road 6035.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Friday, Fraser reportedly arrived at the residence on May 24th saying he wanted his car keys and would burn down the house. He had left when officers arrived.

The following day, officers were dispatched to the home after Fraser returned and reportedly locked himself in the residence. The victim, who had left the residence, told officers she had heard knocking on a window, followed by Fraser yelling and again asking for his wallet.

The victim and her two children were in bed when Fraser reportedly pushed in a nearby window. The victim said she moved an air conditioning unit onto the bed so it would not fall out of the window. She noted Fraser was standing below her window.

She then picked up the window pane, attempting to replace it to keep Fraser out when the Yellville man shoved it back breaking the glass. His actions cut the victim’s wrist.

Fraser then pulled himself into the window and into the bedroom. He continued to rave about his “stolen wallet,” saying he would have the victim prosecuted.

The victim and her children left the residence and sat in her car until deputies arrived.

Three officers entered the residence, while one remained outside to watch the perimeter. However, a search revealed Fraser had already fled the home.

His bond was set at $20,000, and he is set to appear in Marion County Circuit Court in July.
