A southern Missouri man whom authorities say “should be considered armed and dangerous” is being sought by law enforcement. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 43-year-old Dustin Huff.
Douglas County officials say they responded to a “very violent” domestic assault Saturday in which the victim suffered severe injuries and had to be hospitalized. Huff is the suspect in the case and fled into the woods armed with a rifle near the end of KK Highway before deputies arrived. He was last seen in the A Highway area and has reportedly stopped at residences and asked for assistance.
Huff is facing charges of domestic assault in the first degree involving serious physical injury, armed criminal action, kidnapping and unlawful use of a weapon.
Anyone with information about Huff’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 417-683-1020.
