Mountain Home’s new mayor, Hillrey Adams, will preside over his first council meeting Thursday evening at 6:00 with four new members, Jim Bodenhamer, Paige Dillard Evans, Bob Van Haaren and Jim Whalin.The council will consider appointments to the Advertising and Promotion Commission and requests to approve the 2018-2020 water and wastewater and general and street audit contracts. Action on the contracts was postponed at the council’s final meeting in 2018.
The agenda also includes resolutions setting forth organization for the city and amending the 2019 budget and the organization of committees.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
